SwayGifts LLC (United States) operates the SwayGifts platform and acts as the primary data controller for users of the service. - Custodian account details when creating accounts for minors
B. Recipient and Gift Information

- Gift messages, names, and other details associated with a gift or contribution
- Gift delivery and notification status (e.g., sent, delivered, opened)
C. Payment and Transaction Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We receive limited payment-related information necessary to operate the service, such as:
- Transaction amounts, currency, timestamps, and status
- Partial payment metadata from Stripe (e.g., payment IDs, charge IDs, and related references)
- Billing address and payment method type (when provided to us by Stripe)
- Dispute, refund, and chargeback-related data
D. Identity Verification (KYC) Information
Recipients (and custodians, where applicable) may need to complete identity verification through Stripe to receive payouts via Stripe Connect. Identity verification information is collected and processed by Stripe as our payment partner. We may receive limited verification status indicators (for example, “verified” or “additional information required”) to operate the service and provide support.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the platform and comply with law:
A. Payment Processing and Identity Verification (Stripe)
We share information with Stripe to process payments, perform identity verification (where required), and route payouts to verified recipients via Stripe Connect. Stripe’s processing of information is governed by their policies and applicable law.
B. Service Providers
We may share information with vendors who provide services such as hosting, storage, analytics, communications (email/SMS), customer support tools, and security monitoring. These providers are contractually required to safeguard information and use it only to provide services to SwayGifts.
C. Legal, Compliance, and Safety
We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users, SwayGifts, and the public (including investigating fraud, abuse, or security incidents).
D. Business Transfers

SwayGifts accounts for children must be created and managed by a verified adult Custodian. Minors are not permitted to send gifts or receive payouts directly. If you believe a child has provided personal information without a Custodian’s involvement, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
